    of things: Ignatius is proud to have ὄνομα θεοπρεπέστατον a name that most redounds to the glory of God IMg 1:2 (cp. Maximus Tyr. 35, 2e θεοπρεπῆ ὀνόματα in contrast to ἀνθρωπικὰ ὀν.; cp. also the use of the verb πρέπω in the sense ‘be appropriate, be worthy of’ Just., A II, 2, 16).
